Recently, I was reading Hebrews 10:12,
"But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God;" - Hebrews 10:12
I immediately noticed the location of one particular comma in that verse: The comma after the words "for ever". I thought, "what if that comma was in another place?"
For example, if that comma was after the word "sins", then the verse would read like this:
"But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins, for ever sat down on the right hand of God;" - Hebrews 10:12
If this comma was in another after the word "sins" then we would have been robbed of a great doctrinal truth: that Christ's payment for our sins LASTS FOREVER!
Maybe we do have a PERFECT Bible after all....
Just a thought...
